JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Accountant at Kippap, you will play a vital role in managing our financial records and transactions. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial data, support budgeting and forecasting efforts, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • At least 3 years experience
  • Knowledgeable in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and BIR tax regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate high ethical standards

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Financial Record Management

  • Accurately record all financial transactions, including income, expenses, and bank deposits.

  • Issue receipts for financial transactions.

  • Maintain General Ledger

  • Post journal entries to ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.

  • Regularly reconcile accounts to maintain financial accuracy.

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable

  • Verify invoices for accuracy and validity.

  • Obtain necessary approvals for payments.
  • Ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Invoice customers for services or products rendered.
  • Track customer payments and record them accurately.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection.

  • Payroll Processing

  • Calculate employee payroll accurately, including deductions and taxes.

  • Process payroll on time in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee benefits as part of payroll processing.

  • Tax Compliance:

  • Ensure timely filing of taxes and compliance with all government financial regulations.

  • Prepare and submit tax returns and other required financial documents to relevant authorities.

  • Financial Reporting:

  • Generate detailed financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial health.

  • Analyze financial data and present findings to management for informed decision-making.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to management.

  • Audit Preparation:

  • Prepare documentation and assist with internal and external audits.

  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and address any issues identified during audits.
