The Editorial and Media Relations Associate will work closely with experts who have extensive experience in  providing strategic public relations, public affairs, and crisis/reputation management counsel to businesses and individuals across several fields such as cybersecurity,  banking, energy, sustainable development, healthcare, and real estate, among others. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conceptualization, design, and production of collaterals and copy for communication  campaigns
  • Produce informational materials, art cards, videos, and other digital collaterals
  • Develop write-ups, articles, and copy for campaigns
  • Work with the research, account management, and editorial teams in the design  and production of other requirements for client servicing
  • Assist in cultivating a good relationship with target media
  • Assist in distribution of press releases to target media
  • Support crisis communications, public affairs, and perception management campaigns as necessary

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates competence in written and oral communication, graphic arts and  design, and social media management
  • Demonstrates competence in business writing, copywriting, and speech writing
  • Experience in digital marketing, corporate branding, or communications  research for business an advantage
  • Experience coordinating with stakeholders such as journalists and media
  • Strong interest in matters involving the Philippine economy, sustainable  development, and current events which shape the business  environment
