Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Risk Manager (ERM). The candidate will be responsible for performing critical risk management activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing effective risk management practices.

This role will report to the Senior ERM in the Data and Analytics Operations Risk Management team

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversight and execution of Business Management Activities (BMA), Control Environment Programs (CEP), Business Continuity Management (BCM), Top Risks, Issues, Events, Internal Audit (IA) Actions, and Emerging Risks Assessment.
• Conduct Risk Operating Committee meetings for function supported, ensuring effective risk governance and decision-making.
• Ensure accountability for logging issues, events, controls, and actions in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance system.
• Ensure the timely escalation and logging of risk events to ensure prompt resolution and mitigation.
• Implement and monitor risk management practices across the organization to minimize potential risks.
• Evaluate and ensure compliance with London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) policy standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assess and manage regulatory risks, ensuring the organization adheres to all relevant regulations.
• Document and adhere to procedures for Embedded Risk Management (ERM) tasks, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Provide oversight for risk and control aspects of transformation programs, ensuring risks are identified and handled effectively.
• Lead and mentor the risk champions, encouraging continuous improvement and proactive risk management.

Skills Required:

• Minimum of 7-8 years of work experience
• Strong knowledge of risk management concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex risk concepts to diverse audiences
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Flexible with any shift to be assigned by the business
