How You Will Create Impact

As the GL and Reporting Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the General Ledger (GL), financial reporting, and tax-related processes to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements. You will lead a team of finance professionals, oversee reporting activities, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure adherence to corporate guidelines, local regulations, and international accounting standards (IFRS).

Your Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & GL Management

  • Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and Corporate Finance Guidelines.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of general ledger postings and account reconciliations.
  • Lead the preparation of year-end reporting packages for legal entities, including supporting schedules and disclosures.
  • Manage and monitor tax and statutory books through monthly adjustment entries.
  • Implement effective procedures to enhance the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.

Tax & Compliance

  • Support the review and management of corporate income tax declarations and related filings for ASP entities.
  • Prepare and reconcile tax provisions and deferred tax asset/liability schedules.
  • Assist with tax computations, ensuring consistency between tax reporting and financial statements.
  • Track and analyze tax losses carried forward and tax credits, and support tax audits by providing required documentation and analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure compliance with tax and reporting obligations.

Internal Controls & Process Improvements

  • Identify control gaps, assess financial and operational risks, and recommend enhancements to mitigate potential weaknesses within the Internal Control System (ICS).
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of transfer pricing processes, including intercompany reconciliations.
  • Ensure alignment of all accounting processes with both local tax regulations and corporate guidelines.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of GL and reporting specialists to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Allocate tasks effectively, set performance expectations, and provide regular coaching and feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven team culture.

What We Would Like You to BringQualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics (Master's Degree preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA are highly desirable.
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience in Accounting, GL Management, and Financial Reporting within a multinational organization.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS, local tax regulations, and corporate accounting standards.
  • Experience in leading a team and managing cross-functional finance processes.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership capabilities with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to travel and work extended hours when required.
