About the role

Join the dynamic team at Southern Arms Corporation' as our full-time Auditor. Based in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental, this critical role will see you providing high-quality internal audit services to support the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting comprehensive audits of the company's financial records, operations, and internal control systems to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Identifying potential risks and inefficiencies, and recommending practical solutions to improve the company's overall performance and governance
  • Preparing detailed audit reports, presenting findings to management, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement corrective actions
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, legislation, and industry regulations, and advising the company accordingly
  • Providing support and guidance to the finance and accounting teams to enhance their understanding of internal control processes
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's audit and risk management frameworks

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an internal auditor, preferably in the manufacturing or related industry
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or ACCA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organisation
  • Proficient in the use of audit software and data analysis tools
  • Thorough understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management best practices
  • Commitment to ethical conduct and professional integrity
