Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Ensure full compliance with BIR requirements, including preparation, review, and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports
  • Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Review payroll computations, final pay processing, and related government remittances
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
  • Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support management decision-making
  • Assist in audits and act as a key point of contact for external auditors and regulators
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and systems
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with exposure to tax and financial reporting
  • Strong working knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR compliance
  • Experience in payroll review and government statutory remittances
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly Excel and Google Sheets
  • Experience with accounting and payroll systems is required
  • Willing to work in a hybrid setup based in Alabang, Muntinlupa
