We are currently looking for
Senior Accountant
for the following function:

  1. Records to Report (General Accounting)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Records to Report:

  • Perform and supervise month-end close checklist to ensure all routine entries are posted to general ledger, accuracy of postings and adequate support is provided.
  • Spearhead the review, recommendation and implementation of improved month-end close process. Refine methodology and process for month-end close items.
  • Support internal and external auditors during their reviews and prepare requested schedules as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls over the month-end close process.
  • Ensure that subsidiary ledger balances are appropriately accounted for in the general ledger.
  • Improve accounting, timing, quality and effectiveness of reports.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of bank accounts, cash control sheets, accounts receivable reports and other financial data as required to ensure accurate reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy/Financial Management or any related courses.
  • At least 4 to 5 years of related work experience.
  • Experience working in a shared service set-up is a plus.
  • Working knowledge with AS400 or D365 or other relevant accounting software.
  • Knowledgeable in GAAP and other basic accounting principle.
  • Excellent understanding of financial acumen
  • Ability to Prepare Financial Statements
  • Effective communication skills with high level of fluency.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Digitally literate - proficient in MS Office specifically in MS Excel.
  • Able to work with diverse nationality.
  • Amenable to work in graveyard shift/shifting schedule.

The candidate should be able to work in Madrigal Business Park, Alabang Muntinlupa City. We are currently in a
temporary hybrid work set-up.
