About the Role

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the General Ledger team and provide supervision to Junior Accountants. This role involves preparing monthly financial reports, managing month-end closing activities, and coordinating with local finance teams to resolve discrepancies. You will gain exposure to a wide range of finance processes within a Shared Services environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, guide, and review the work of Junior Accountants.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and schedules for assigned Business Units.
  • Manage month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, inventory, bank statements, and intercompany transactions.
  • Coordinate with BU Finance teams and CFO to address account issues.
  • Recommend enhancements in accounting processes, policies, and systems.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and support periodic reporting requirements.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor outstanding items.
  • Assist with finance-related projects and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy; CPA certification is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in audit or financial accounting.
  • Experience using ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics D365 preferred or equivalent).
  • Strong Excel proficiency and solid computer skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Experience in a Shared Services or multinational company is highly preferred.
