The Logistics Officer is responsible for coordinating the movement, storage, and distribution of products, raw materials, and packaging components to ensure efficient operations. The role supports order fulfillment, transportation planning, warehouse coordination, and export/logistics documentation to maintain smooth supply chain flow for both domestic and international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatch of finished goods to customers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
- Communicate with trucking providers, courier partners, and internal teams to ensure proper loading, routing, and delivery execution.
- Monitor warehouse inventory movements, including inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods.
- Ensure all logistics documents (DRs, shipping labels, gate passes, loading checklists, BOL) are complete and accurate.
- Track shipments and provide delivery updates to the Sales Team and customers.
- Assist in managing logistics-related concerns such as delays, shortages, damages, or documentation issues.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Warehouse for receiving schedules, container loading, and storage availability.
- Support export shipments by preparing or coordinating export documentation (packing lists, commercial invoices, delivery plans, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements affecting logistics and distribution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 1–3 years of logistics, dispatch, warehousing, or transport coordination experience (preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution).
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic familiarity with logistics systems.
- Ability to handle time-sensitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills for dealing with drivers, suppliers, sales teams, and external partners.
