Job Brief:Our client, a Singapore-based events company is seeking a Finance and Operations Manager who will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial and operational management for the organization. This hands-on role involves overseeing finance and payroll operations, handling GST and Xero, managing team logistics such as travel bookings, and maintaining operational efficiency through Google Workspace tools.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing both financial and administrative functions in a fast-paced, global environment.
Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports, statements, and cash flow forecasts.
- Handle client invoicing, expense tracking, and reconciliations using Xero.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking for ongoing operations.
Compliance & Accounting
- Manage GST registration, filing, and compliance for the Singapore entity.
- Coordinate with accountants, auditors, and government agencies.
- Maintain accurate financial records aligned with both PH and SG standards.
Payroll & Administrative Operations
- Oversee monthly payroll for PH-based employees and contractors.
- Ensure timely processing of reimbursements and vendor payments.
- Maintain employee and vendor records in compliance with company policies.
Travel & Event Support
- Book flights, hotels, and logistics for team members traveling to events.
- Coordinate schedules, itineraries, and vendor communication.
- Support operational execution of global events when required.
Office Administration & Systems Management
- Manage daily administrative operations using Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
- Streamline reporting, record-keeping, and workflow systems.
- Support leadership with ad-hoc administrative and financial tasks.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations management.
- Strong hands-on experience with GST, payroll, and Xero.
- Highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple administrative priorities.
- Proficient in Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, Drive).
- Experience in a Singapore-based or regional setup preferred
Excellent communication and time management skills
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
