Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Coder to join our growing team. This is an entry-level position, and new graduates of BS Nursing are highly encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will assist in reviewing and accurately translating clinical documentation into standardized codes for billing, reporting, and reimbursement purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation
  • Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with all regulations (e.g., CMS, HIPAA)
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses or procedures when needed
  • Review patient charts and medical records for completeness and accuracy
  • Support billing and claims processing teams with correct coding information
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and organizational information
  • Participate in training and quality assurance reviews to continuously improve coding skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Coding certification (preferred but not required) – e.g., CPC, CCS, CCA (company may offer training or sponsorship)
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Basic knowledge of EHR/EMR systems is an advantage
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php35,000.00 per month
