Project Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Coding Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a specialized project involving the comprehensive analysis and annotation of medical datasets. The project centers on accurately interpreting and labeling ICD codes, their descriptions, related medical notes, and doctor–patient conversation transcripts in alignment with the CPT 2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze a dataset consisting of ICD codes, descriptions, medical notes, and doctor–patient conversations.
• Accurately interpret, label, and classify data in accordance with the CPT 2025 Standard Data File and provided guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with medical coding standards and quality assurance benchmarks.
• Prepare and submit annotated files in the required format (e.g., CSV, Excel).
• Collaborate with the project team to meet performance standards and delivery timelines.

Job Qualification:

• Preferably a bachelor's degree in health information management, nursing, life sciences, or any allied health field
• Must be a certified medical coder from AAPC
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding systems
• At least 2 years experience in CPT coding
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
• Willing to work on-site
• For Cebu-based applicants only

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: Php35, Php45,000.00 per month
