About the role

We're looking for an enthusiastic Counter Checker to join our team at Daily Supermarket, Inc.' in Cubao Quezon City Metro Manila. This full-time position is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience for our customers. You'll be responsible for accurately processing customer transactions and maintaining high standards of service in our bustling supermarket.

What you'll be doing

• Quickly and accurately scanning and processing customer purchases at the checkout counter
• Handling cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and care
• Assisting customers with bagging their items and providing a friendly, helpful service
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked checkout area
• Collaborating with the wider supermarket team to ensure a seamless shopping experience
• Following all store policies and procedures to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or supermarket role
• Strong numeracy skills and the ability to handle cash and transactions accurately
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service
