The Trading Sales Agent is responsible for generating sales and building strong business relationships with customers in the frozen meat industry. The role involves promoting the company's products, handling client inquiries, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Sales Agent also monitors market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to help the company stay competitive in the trading market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients such as wholesalers and distributors.
- Promote and sell frozen meat products according to company targets and sales objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential markets to expand customer base.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback to management.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules within approved company guidelines.
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and documentation teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels and product availability to support customer orders.
- Stay updated on market prices, competitor activities, and trends affecting meat trading.
- Ensure proper documentation and collection of payments from clients.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold its reputation in all customer dealings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field (preferred but not required).
- At least 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in frozen meat, food trading, or distribution industry.
- Essential requirement for sales experience specifically within the frozen meat industry.
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience is required for this position.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented, persuasive, and self-motivated to achieve sales targets.
- Knowledge of meat products and basic understanding of cold chain logistics is an advantage.
- Willing to travel or conduct fieldwork to meet clients and develop accounts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic sales reporting tools.
- Possesses a valid driver's license (preferred).
