The successful new joiner will collaborate with an experienced backend team to design, optimize, and scale modern web platforms—continuing to strengthen their technical expertise and teamwork abilities.

As our new Django Back-End Developer, you will play a key role in architecting and maintaining the core systems that drive our applications. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design efficient back-end architectures, optimize performance, and ensure reliability—helping the company continue to innovate and deliver best-in-class products to its customers.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Django-based backend systems and applications.
  • Develop clean, efficient, and reusable code using Django best practices.
  • Work with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases, ensuring efficient queries and schema design
  • Utilize Django's built-in features (ORM, middleware, signals, admin interface, forms, etc.) to deliver robust functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers, QA, and DevOps to deliver complete solutions.
  • Optimize application performance and maintain code quality through testing and code reviews.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and long-term architectural decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of professional Django development experience (beyond Django REST Framework or light integration).
  • Solid understanding of Django's core components — ORM, admin, middleware, and template system.
  • Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based deployment environments.
  • Good understanding of software engineering principles: maintainability, testing, documentation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with professional fluency in English.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience deploying Django applications on AWS, GCP, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with Celery, Redis, or background task management.
  • Exposure to containerization tools (Docker).
  • Contributions to Django open-source projects or plugins.
