The Impex Officer handles the Import and Export shipments in compliance with government clearances and regulations, manage customs documentation, transportation and financial process, and coordinates with Logistics Service Providers and to the destination areas.

  • Contributes to the progression of the OTIF KPI of CSC Logistics by ensuring supply availability
  • Provides an efficient interface with Brokers and provide optimal level of customer services and resolve shipment issues.
  • Evaluates all documents for import and export to ensure accurate values and collaborate with customer brokers for all imports and exports shipments.
  • Maintains control and ensures regulations to all import and export processes and monitor work according to corporate and local policies and evaluate all new custom requirements and supervise everyday operations according to standard procedures.
  • Supports the quantitative and qualitative operational developments through periodical and impromptu reports and analyses
  • Applies insurance relating to import/export shipments
  • Generates and report broker performances, and conducts alignment for action plans
  • Collaborates with Finance, Procurement, Planners and Logistics teams for the end-to-end deliveries of shipments.
  • Provides weekly and daily reports.
  • Provides input for contracts to enable effective operations and customer/supplier relations
  • Reviews the relevant transport methods, which satisfies optimally the needs of AMC and its customers and suppliers
  • Checks the dispute cases related to financial and operational deviations
  • Facilitates assigned logistics projects relating to Import and Export operations following project management guidelines
  • Performs all record keeping processes and maintain records of all entry.
  • Supports audit on all import and export files on regular basis.
  • Validates billing of Brokers for advances, brokerage fee and incidental charges
