Description

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding airfreight shipments. To liaise with overseas offices, partners and agents. To assist in the smooth running of operations for the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor airfreight shipments from booking to final delivery.
  • Handles encoding and sending of Inward Manifest to BOC e2m system.
  • Assist in preparation of all required documentation (e.g., airway bills, customs declarations, invoices).
  • Communicate with airlines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other partners to ensure timely movement of goods.
  • Proactively track and trace shipments, providing updates and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and exceptions professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the system (Phoenix and CAB).
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, finance) to deliver seamless service.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Must possess a high level of commitment to quality service.
  • 1-2 years' working experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics is an advantage.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced, multi-tasking, customer service-minded environment.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication as well as organizational skills.
  • Adept in computer operations (MS Windows based programs) and other related office tools such as Excel, Words, and PowerPoint
