WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Ensures that all necessary information and documents concerning outbound / inbound cargoes through the agents, internal / external customer are promptly and accurately disseminated to concerned parties.
- Inquires the departure / arrival of carrier with various shipping lines and co-loaders / airlines
- In charge of weekly reservation and booking with shipping lines / airlines, upon receipt of Transport Order from ODS
- Prepare TOR for ODS TOM creation ( if required)
- Ensures shipment ID are available in CW1 before carrier's departure.
- Prepares final Bill of lading for submission to carrier on or before departure.
- Proofreads or checks if there are data discrepancies between House and Master Bills of Lading
- Amends bill of lading of carrier and agents concerned prior carrier's arrival at destination.
- Sends pre-alert and/or shipping documents to destination office via e-mail or courier service (if required)
- Coordinates trucking and/or brokerage requirement of shipment, if required
- Ensure on time, complete and accurate turnover of documentation, rates (selling & cost) to designated biller.
- Prepares request for check/payment for freight and other related bills.
- Assists client on their booking requirements and other inquiries related to export shipments.
- Make sure that Official Receipts are uploaded on time.
- Ensure to meet the KPI KRA (Productivity, Accuracy, Events Data Quality , speed of invoicing)
- Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time
Execute transport orders in the TMS according to SOPs
- Check all required documents & compliance : commercial invoice, packing list, cargo compliance (nature / geography /..)
- Perform the transport plan according to CES booking instructions and local & global regulation
- Produce documentation according to customer profile and country specifics
- Organize pre & post-carriage with Road department or SSC
- Input up to date information in the TMS : Tasks, milestones, events, deviations and any other relevant information to guarantee execution of the shipment and data quality according to customer SOP and our internal standards
- Control detention and demurrage risk
Network interactions
- Coordinate with COS in case of operational issues and on productivity
- Coordinate with CES in case of amendment of solution and if needed
- Coordinate with BPO, SSC and HUB to complete execution
GATEWAY
Check shipments, Pull the shipments for consolidation and operation consolidations for a given hinterland
- Perform the transport plan (master file opening, booking …) according to the consolidation planning and requested ETA provided on shipments, optimisation opportunities for consolidation production, local and global regulation
- Produce Consol documentation according to regulation (Master Air Waybill (MAWB), Master Bill of lading (MBoL), Dangerous Good Declaration (DGD) …) and country specifics
- Coordinate pre & post-carriage operations with road dpt (shuttle from one CFS to another CFS, pick-up & delivery of containers from / to CFS …)
- Input up to date information in the TMS (consolidation file) : Tasks, milestones, events, Phase, deviations and any other relevant information to guarantee execution of the shipment and data quality according to customer SOP and our internal standards
- Control detention and demurrage risk if applicable
- Manage the coordination with transit warehouse (pick-up, loading list …) & customs (CCS)
Network & supplier interactions
- Coordinate with Hinterland branches (origin & destination)
- Coordinate with BPO and SSC to complete execution eg Customs, Pre/Post, Transit warehouse
- Relationship with carriers : increase or decrease bookings & monitor the consolidation
Coordinate with CES - Local MO Solution to optimise local procurement strategy
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Customs Admin, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent
- Has a minimum of three (3) years working experience on a Freight Forwarding / Logistics business
- Knows about Customs E2M, manifest preparation
- Has good communications skill
- Computer literate
- Fast learner
- With good moral character
- Willing to extend working hour, if required
- With less supervision even under pressure
