About the role

We are seeking a talented Design Engineer and CAD Operator to join our team at AHD Advance Communication System, Inc. in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a contract position that will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of our innovative communication solutions.

What you'll be doing

  • Utilise design software to create detailed engineering drawings and designs for communication systems and components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective engineering solutions
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify optimal design approaches and technologies
  • Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, manuals, and reports
  • Test and validate designs to ensure they meet quality and performance standards
  • Support the implementation and installation of designed solutions
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance design efficiency

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Engineering, with a focus on Electrical, Electronics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar design engineering or CAD operator role
  • Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, or Creo, 2d, 3d, 4d
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with engineering standards, regulations, and best practices in the communication systems industry
