  • Assists the Senior Engineer in supervising all designs and production works of Structural Design Teams.
  • Coordinates with Senior Designers and other disciplines to ensure that all production works are well coordinated.
  • Double checks the list of drawings received from Senior Engineer, prepares project's program and production resources to ensure that it is finished in accordance to Senior Engineer time frame and as per Work Order.
  • Reviews and check all project drawings and information received from Senior Engineer and recommends to Technical Manager to which Structural team a particular project is to be assigned.
  • Directly guides and supervises the Structural Design Team and Senior Engineer to ensure effective team leadership and accurate production works.
  • Ensures that all projects assigned to Structural Design team are finished on time as per schedule.
  • Checks and recommends request for overtime for approval of Senior Engineer and final approval of Technical Manager.
  • Checks all works of Structural Design production team and ensures compliance to standards set for execution of implementation of design works and all requirements for each project are complied.
  • Checks and quality controls all design and production works of Structural Design team prior to uploading and submission to Senior Engineer.
  • Double check the weekly time sheets to monitor project output of Structural Design production staff prior to approval of the Technical Manager and submission for final approval by Head Office.
  • Prepares a weekly and monthly production report and submits to the Senior Engineer.
  • Monitors the performance of all teams and recommends specific procedures and steps to further improve the Structural Design team's production output
  • Performs duties and other functions as may be directed by the Employer from time to time.
