SUMMARY

  • The position of Foundry Engineer is responsible for a variety of aspects that pertain to customer orders. This includes designing printed molds for production, monitoring of production and adherence to processes, development of manufacturing instructions and process sheets, creating and maintaining process records, solid modeling, and ERP data upkeep.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Learn and remain current on all production aspects.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing instructions and process sheets.
  • Maintain process records.
  • Create Solid models.
  • Develop Casting Tooling
  • Design 3D printed Molds
  • Run Casting Simulations.
  • Develop and maintain training modules for operators.
  • Troubleshoot casting and/or process related problems as needed.
  • Aid in costing review as needed.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

WORK SKILLS:
strong interpersonal skills, ability to follow and assign directions and meet deadlines, strong communication and organizational skills.

EXPERIENCE:
3+ Years manufacturing and/or College Degree

QUALIFICATIONS:
3D CAD, Microsoft Office, ERP systems.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Professional, industrial business setting.
