About the role:

We are seeking a
Junior Accountant
based in the Philippines to support our finance operations across APAC.

This role will focus on treasury functions, payroll support, invoice and bank postings, and assisting with some reporting requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to maintain strict confidentiality while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Treasury & Bank Operations

• Act as company treasurer by monitoring cash flow and managing liquidity requirements.
• Prepare, initiate, and process bank payments for the APAC entities.
• Perform accurate bank postings and ensure timely reconciliation of bank transactions.

Invoice & Payroll Management

• Handle purchase invoice and expense postings, ensuring timely and accurate recording.
• Consolidate and validate payroll data (attendance, overtime, deductions, benefits, etc.).
• Coordinate with HR / Consultant to ensure payroll inputs are correct and complete.
• Process and make payroll disbursements on schedule.
• Ensure accurate government remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR withholding taxes) in compliance with Philippine regulations.

Reporting & Compliance

• Assist in preparing and sending monthly reports to consultants in the Philippines.
• Support preparation and submission of GST documents for Singapore.
• Coordinate with PH consultants, external auditors and tax authorities as required.

Financial Documentation & Safekeeping

• Safeguard critical financial and legal documents (contracts, receipts, vouchers, and compliance files).
• Maintain an organized filing system (both physical and electronic).
• Ensure strict confidentiality and data security.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification and audit background is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting & treasury functions (experience with multi-entity operations is a plus).
• Familiarity with Philippine statutory compliance (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, BIR).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems (NetSuite ERP experience is an advantage).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial data.
