Job description

Main Duties, Responsibilities and Performance Indicators

  1. Project Management:

  2. Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of R&D projects.

  3. Track project timelines and milestones to ensure timely completion.

  4. Coordinate with team members to allocate tasks and resources efficiently.

  5. Research and Development:

  6. Conduct laboratory experiments and data analysis to support product development initiatives.

  7. Assist in the development of new product formulations, recipes, and processes.

  8. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.

  9. Quality Assurance:

  10. Ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards throughout the product development process.

  11. Conduct quality control checks and tests to maintain product consistency.

  12. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues.

  13. Documentation and Reporting:

  14. Maintain accurate and detailed records of research activities, experiments, and results.

  15. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.

  16. Analyze data and generate insights to inform decision-making.

  17. Team Collaboration:

  18. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth product development and commercialization.

  19. Provide support and guidance to junior R&D team members.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Food Technology
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in food product development or research.
  • Strong understanding of food science principles, culinary techniques, and ingredient functionality.
  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment.
  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and 1 as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance.
