Job Description
The main purpose of the role is to manage the development of solar, solar + storage and energy storage projects through project management, contract negotiation, and transaction support across a pipeline of projects.

  • Manage project development from Greenfield to Operation according to high, international standard.
  • Initial focus on ongoing projects in the Philippines in collaboration with the Market Head & Regional Director.
  • Manage budgets, milestones, schedules, and deliverables for assigned development projects.
  • Review of project agreements such as PPAs, Interconnection, land lease agreement, JV agreements, and other related project contracts.
  • Interface with all project's functional areas: Engineering, Project, Finance, Accounting, Legal.
  • Work with finance department during financial feasibility analysis, evaluation, and during the project debt and tax equity financing processes.
  • Engage local community for project support.
  • Manage contractors, vendors, and consultants to maintain project timeline, value optimization, and budget.
  • Secure permits and ensure and environmental compliance throughout the development, construction, and operation of projects.
  • Manage and track existing development contracts, management of project due diligence processes interfacing with internal and external stakeholders during project implementation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree
  • Project management skills in large-scale solar or comparable projects.
  • Experience in using project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project or other software.
  • Understanding typical structures of large-scale renewable energy projects.
  • Attentive to details and skills in contract management.
  • Self-driven and be able to work flexibly with stakeholders from different cultures.
  • Experience with complex and multi-stakeholder projects
  • Team player, be able to work with minimal supervision and proficient in transferring ideas/ knowledge to direct reports (Project Developers).
  • Should have basic understanding of land documentation in PH, familiar with common structures in acquiring land rights and conducting preliminary land due diligence.
  • Proficiency in securing land and project permits.
