Location:

Clark, Pampanga / Sta. Cruz, Zambales (as required by company operations)

Reports To:

Accounting Head / Finance Manager / Admin Manager

Job Summary:

The Accounting Staff is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting and finance-related tasks, including recording financial transactions, preparing reports, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. The role supports the Finance and Administrative team to maintain accurate and timely financial records essential for mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping & Records
  • Record daily financial transactions (cash receipts, disbursements, payables, receivables).
  • Maintain and update accounting books, ledgers, and financial databases.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Process supplier invoices, check vouchers, and payments.
  • Monitor collections and follow up on accounts receivables.
  • Ensure proper documentation of expenses and receipts.
  • Payroll & Employee Benefits
  • Assist in preparing payroll and computing employee salaries, allowances, and deductions.
  • Handle government remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR Withholding Tax).
  • Financial Reporting
  • Prepare monthly expense reports, petty cash liquidation, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in generating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure proper filing of accounting documents for audit purposes.
  • Assist during internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate with BIR and LGU for tax and permit requirements.
  • Support to Management
  • Provide financial data needed by the Admin Manager, Finance Manager, or General Manager.
  • Perform other accounting-related duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or Finance.
  • With 1–3 years relevant experience (fresh graduates with good academic standing may be considered).
  • Knowledgeable in basic accounting principles, taxation, and payroll processing.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
