We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our finance team. The CPA will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting activities including financial reporting, audits, budgeting, tax preparation, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Oversee tax planning and preparation for federal, state, and local tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal policies.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Provide financial insights and forecasts to support business decision-making.
  • Monitor and implement changes in tax laws and accounting regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and strategic planning processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Active CPA license required.
  • [X]+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in public accounting or corporate finance.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle).
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
