Job Summary

The Social Media Associate manages and maintains the company's social media platforms to strengthen brand presence, engage audiences, and support marketing and communication objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Monitor daily social media activity, messages, and comments, and respond professionally
  • Assist in developing content calendars and campaign strategies
  • Coordinate with internal teams for branding, promotions, and announcements
  • Track performance metrics and prepare basic social media reports
  • Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and company policies
  • Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Arts, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization
  • Basic knowledge of content creation tools (Canva, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
  • Strong written communication and creativity skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
