About the role

As an Electrician at Holiday Plaza Hotel, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the electrical systems throughout our bustling hotel in Cebu City, Cebu. Working as part of our dedicated Facilities team, you will ensure the smooth operation of all electrical components, from lighting and power to safety systems. This full-time role is essential for keeping our hotel running efficiently and providing a comfortable experience for our guests.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, including switchboards, lighting, and power outlets
  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues in a timely manner to minimise disruption to hotel operations
  • Installing new electrical equipment and components as needed for hotel renovations or upgrades
  • Adhering to all electrical safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Maintaining detailed records of all electrical work completed
  • Collaborating with the Facilities team to coordinate electrical projects and resolve any issues

What we're looking for

  • Qualified electrician with a valid license and at least 2 years of experience in a similar hotel or commercial setting
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve electrical problems
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively within a team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks and projects
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all electrical regulations
