Job Summary:

The Auto Electrician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems of vehicles, particularly trucks, buses, and heavy equipment. The role ensures that all electrical components are functioning safely and efficiently to support vehicle performance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical wiring, components, and systems in vehicles.
  • Install and maintain vehicle lighting systems, ignition, air conditioning, alarms, GPS, and other electronic devices.
  • Conduct troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Replace faulty electrical parts such as alternators, starters, batteries, and wiring harnesses.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
  • Interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and company policies.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
  • Collaborate with mechanics and service staff for efficient workflow.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Auto Electrician (trucks/heavy equipment background preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physically fit and willing to work in workshop or field service.

Work Schedule & Location:
  • Full-time, on-site at assigned branch/workshop.
  • May require overtime and fieldwork as needed.
