About the role

Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort is seeking a skilled and responsible Licensed Lifeguard to join our dynamic team. As a Licensed Lifeguard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests during their time at our beachfront resort in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. This is a full-time position that will require you to work on-site.

What you'll be doing

  1. Continuously monitor the beach and swimming areas to identify and address any potential safety risks
  2. Provide immediate and appropriate response to any incidents or emergencies that may occur
  3. Administer first aid and CPR as needed
  4. Enforce resort policies and rules to maintain a safe environment for all guests
  5. Collaborate with the resort management team to identify and implement safety enhancements
  6. Participate in regular training sessions to maintain and improve your lifesaving skills
  7. Maintain accurate records of all incidents and safety-related activities

What we're looking for

  1. Current and valid lifeguard certification from a recognized authority
  2. Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a licensed lifeguard in a resort or similar setting
  3. Excellent physical fitness and swimming abilities
  4. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  5. Effective communication and customer service skills
  6. Ability to work well in a team and follow established safety protocols
