About the role

Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort is seeking a skilled and responsible Licensed Lifeguard to join our dynamic team. As a Licensed Lifeguard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests during their time at our beachfront resort in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. This is a full-time position that will require you to work on-site.

What you'll be doing

  • Continuously monitor the beach and swimming areas to identify and address any potential safety risks
  • Provide immediate and appropriate response to any incidents or emergencies that may occur
  • Administer first aid and CPR as needed
  • Enforce resort policies and rules to maintain a safe environment for all guests
  • Collaborate with the resort management team to identify and implement safety enhancements
  • Participate in regular training sessions to maintain and improve your lifesaving skills
  • Maintain accurate records of all incidents and safety-related activities

What we're looking for

  • Current and valid lifeguard certification from a recognized authority
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a licensed lifeguard in a resort or similar setting
  • Excellent physical fitness and swimming abilities
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow established safety protocols
