Duties and Responsibilities

1.    Ensures the preparation of Conversion Cost Report

2.    Obtains and reviews daily production reports of Rolling Mill and Melt

3.    Records product cost components (raw materials, power, fuel, materials and supplies, repairs and maintenance, fixed cost and finished goods) accurately

4.    Summarizes and analyzes the production reports on a monthly basis

5.    Performs variance analysis of actual cost versus allotted budget

6.    Verifies and investigates significant fluctuations, variances or unusual items in the production reports and production costs

7.    Discusses conversion cost and provides variance analysis during Operation Meeting of Managers, Department Heads, and Supervisors

8.    Ensures the preparation of the budget

9.    Provides information to all departments for annual budget preparation

10.  Reviews and summarizes Plant Budget to be submitted to Head Office Accounting

11.  Ensures the proper monitoring of the Capital Budget Request (CBR)

12.  Maintains and monitors the Capital Budget Request of the Plant

13.  Reviews supporting documents of CBR before submitting to Head Office Accounting for approval

14.  Ensures the Annual Physical Inventory of Raw Materials, Finished Goods, Scrap and other Consumable Items

15.  Performs annual stock take of raw materials, finished goods, scrap and consumable items with participation of Head Office Accounting and External Auditors

16.  Reconciles and reviews result of physical inventory count before submitting to Head Office Accounting

17.  Performs other related tasks assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Accounting Graduate (CPA) (is advantage)
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in related  field
  • Willing to relocate at Compostela, Cebu
