Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure product availability nationwide.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.

2. Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure timely procurement of raw materials or finished goods to meet production and sales requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and adherence to quality and compliance standards.

3. Warehousing & Inventory Management

  • Oversee warehouse operations, including storage, inventory control, and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
  • Ensure accurate, real-time inventory tracking across multiple distribution centers.
  • Implement warehouse safety protocols and process improvements.

4. Logistics & Distribution

  • Plan and manage transportation for national or regional distribution.
  • Ensure timely delivery to branches, distributors, and key clients.
  • Optimize routes, fleet utilization, and freight costs while maintaining service levels.

5. Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise supply chain, logistics, and warehouse teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Finance for seamless operations.
  • Conduct training, performance reviews, and development programs for staff.

6. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor KPIs such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment, delivery accuracy, and cost efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and provide insights for management decision-making.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and technology solutions to enhance supply chain performance.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 7–10 years in supply chain or logistics management in FMCG, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.

  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven FMCG environment.
