REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety Environment Science or related field.
  • Preferably with training in ISO 45001, first aid, fire safety, and environmental compliance
  • Minimum 2–3 years in a field safety role; site-based experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with industry-specific knowledge
  • Relevant certifications.

  • Knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, risk management, auditing, incident investigation, training delivery Strong communication and training skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Risk Assessment & Hazard Control

  • Conduct site inspections, JHAs, and toolbox talks.
  • Identify hazards and recommend mitigation measures.

2. Policy & Compliance

  • Enforce OSHA/DOLE standards and internal safety policies.
  • Support implementation of safety programs.

3. Training & Awareness

  • Lead safety orientations, drills, and refresher trainings.
  • Facilitate regular toolbox meetings.

4. Incident Management

  • Investigate incidents/near misses and prepare reports.
  • Recommend corrective and preventive actions.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain safety records, permits, and training logs.
  • Submit regular safety performance reports.

6. Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work with PMs, HR, operations, and regulatory bodies.
  • Join safety committees and assist during audits.

7. Regulatory Compliance

  • Monitor safety and environmental laws and ensure adherence.

8. Safety Audits & Inspections

  • Conduct audits and coordinate corrective actions with departments.

9. Emergency Preparedness

  • Develop and implement emergency response plans.
  • Conduct emergency drills.

10. Environmental Sustainability

  • Support environmental management systems and initiatives.
  • Promote sustainability practices.

11. Contractor Safety Management

  • Ensure subcontractors comply with safety requirements.
  • Review safety plans and permits.

12. HSE & Employee Well-being

  • Implement safety protocols on-site and in the workshop.
  • Ensure compliance with labor and environmental regulations.

13. Performance Management Support

  • Assist in PMS processes, PAMS, and OGSM initiatives.

14. Other Tasks

  • Perform additional duties assigned by immediate superior.
