Qualifications

  • · Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree of Civil Engineer
  • · At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Job Description:

a. Must ensure that there is a safe environment for workers

b. Monitors the injuries incurred and recommend measures to prevent future occurrences

c. Recommends remedial measures for deviation from government standards.

d. Ensures workers wear proper safety devices such as skull protection, safety shoes, gloves, eye protection, heat or fire protection, gas protection, dust protection, etc.

e. Provides advice on safety protection and carry out audit to ensure compliance to company, clients' and governments standards on safety and security are met

f. Monitor or assess hazardous and unsafe workplace activities and develops measure to assure personnel safety

g. Implements safety rules on site and performs counter measure against accidents

h. Reports to Project Engineer; coordinates with the operations and owners with their safety concerns

i. Prepares documentary report: prepares job hazards analysis

j. In-charge in housekeeping on site: maintains sanitation

k. Performs and presides on site tool box meeting

l. Support the development of OHS policies and programs

m. Oversee installation, maintenance, disposal of substance, etc.

n. Evaluates working conditions and work safe practices and develops recommendations, whenever necessary

o. Ensures the health, safety, security and environmental procedures and training programs are fully implemented

p. Provides assistance in HSSE trainings to employees

q. Reviews and analyzes all accident reports and assures that the necessary action have been applied without undue delay

r. Prepare DOLE related reports

s. Implements basic knowledge of procedures and applications of safety, health, fire, and life safety standards.

t. Develops, conducts, promotes safety activities/awareness for workplace.

u. Identifies and assesses construction hazards

v. Develops, formulate, recommends techniques to control construction safety exposure.

w. Prepares monthly reports, statistics, and analysis

x. Assists government agencies in conducting safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any related programs

y. Conducts safety audits of other projects assigned by the Safety Head

z. Provide basic healthcare services to the project/site staff and workers such as First Aid and General Check up

aa. Assess employee health risks and promote health and welfare

bb. Administer medication and treatment to employees if necessary

cc. Prepare DOLE reports such as Work Accident/ Illness Exposure/ Sanitation Data Report

dd. Attend Environment, Health and Safety Programs if necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php12, Php30,000.00 per month
