Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with various departments to develop annual budgets and forecasts.

  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis reports to management.

Compliance and Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.

  • Coordinate and manage external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

Cash Management:

  • Oversee cash flow management, optimizing working capital and liquidity.

  • Monitor banking activities and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continually enhance financial processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a senior accounting role, with a track record of successful financial management.

  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
