Job Description:

• Oversee the whole, daily back of the house operations and ensure smooth flow for all stations.
• Managing back of the house staff's shift schedules.
• Quickly and efficiently resolve issues arising from customer complaints of related to food quality.
• Strictly ensure that the back of the house consistently complies, produces and provides high quality products.
• Strictly ensure that the whole kitchen is compliant to standard food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Strict implementation of company imposed standard operating and cooking procedures in the kitchen.
• Proper weekly planning and forecasting of all food and non-food items to be submitted to the Restaurant Manager.
• Strictly upholding accountability and proper usage of ingredients of each station.
• Maintains, monitors and conducts inventory checks on all consumable and non-consumable back of the house supplies.
• Ensure that all delivered and purchased supplies for the kitchen are accurate and of good condition.
• Maintains a positive yet highly disciplined working environment within the back of the house staff.

Job Qualifications:

• College graduate of any 4-year course; degree on Business Management, Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts or any related course is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in supervisory level in the kitchen.
• At least 1 year of experience as line cook.
• Good relational and people management skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Neat and organized.
• Knowledgeable with food safety and proper food handling.
• Must be willing to be trained according to Goobne standard operational procedures.
• Must be willing to be trained in BGC.
