JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Contracts Management:

  • Manage the creation and maintenance of a repository of all IT vendors.
  • Oversee maintenance of vendor agreements/contracts and ensure that they are kept current, up to date with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Segment and rationalize the vendor portfolio so that appropriate focus can be applied to the most strategically important vendor relationships and engagements.
  • Maintain an inventory of vendor spend by category (SW, HW, Subscription, Staff augmentation, Services, etc.), cost center etc.

Relationship Management:

  • Serve as a point of escalation for vendor issues and disputes and drive those issues to resolution.

Performance Management

  • Oversee the reporting of vendor performance including the creation of scorecard and dashboards or reports that will accurately present these data.
  • Ensure that the metrics used to evaluate performance are properly tried to business outcomes and that the associated communication around these metrics are clear.
  • Manage delivery of performance and feedback to vendor organizations and oversee action plans and corrective measures which may arise from the performance management process.

Risk Management:

  • Maintain vendor risk assessment in cooperation with the Risk Management group and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner with other areas of business (Procurement, Finance, Legal) to track and report on vendor financial viability, business continuity and corporate and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide oversight to vendor audits where required, arrange and direct departmental activities and reconciliation schedules.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in information management system, or related course.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in the related field.
  • Experience driving change and facilitating collaboration of high distributed or flat organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively interpret and act on data visualizations and analytics, particularly with regards to trends in vendor performance and activity.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end Vendor life cycle (Requirements gathering, sourcing, procurement, contracting, and payments) and how internal roles interact and operation throughout the duration of vendor engagements. Solid grasp of financial concepts such as depreciation schedules, capitalization, ROI, and total cost of ownership.
  • Broad knowledge of IT industry standards and services provided by technology vendors, thorough understanding of commercial terms (warranties, intellectual property, indemnification and other IT Agreements and SLA.
  • Willing to work in any of SLMC facilities as the business requires.
  • Willing to extend working hours and holidays, if the need arises, and can be assigned other functions or duties from time to time as the business requirements dictate.
  • Minimum supervision and can work under pressure with professionalism.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
