Key responsibilities

· Financial record-keeping:

Maintain and manage the general ledger, and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.

· Financial reporting:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements.

· Compliance and audits:

Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, and assist with both internal and external audits.

· Accounts management:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

· Tax preparation:

Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure timely submission.

· Financial analysis:

Analyze financial data to identify trends, costs, and returns, providing insights to management for strategic decisions.

· Payroll processing:

Handle payroll tasks, including timesheet collection and applying deductions.

· Account reconciliation:

Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy.

Essential skills

Attention to detail and accuracy, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations, and Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Work experience as an Accountant at least 5 years
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
  • Additional certification CPA is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
