Key Responsibilities:

  • Plans and organizes academic projects and activities, ensuring the effective and efficient use of time and resources.
  • Carries out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Dean.
  • Upholds and promotes academic and educational excellence in all instructional endeavors.
  • Reviews and updates course syllabi as necessary to maintain relevance and alignment with program objectives.
  • Ensures adherence to the standards and requirements set by accrediting and regulatory bodies.
  • Facilitates learning by effectively imparting knowledge and guiding students in their academic development.
  • Creates and maintains an environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
  • Designs, plans, implements, and evaluates course syllabi, instructional strategies, and academic practices to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Master's degree in a field preferably aligned with the program.
  • Possesses a valid Foreign Language (Nihongo) Teaching Certification (JLPT N1).
  • Two (2) years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills in Nihongo.
  • Proficient in computer applications and digital tools.
  • Possesses a pleasant, professional, and approachable personality.
  • Experienced in syllabus and curriculum development, including the evaluation of existing materials and resources.
  • Capable of developing and implementing strategies to enhance student performance.
