Sales and Marketing Officer/Associate

I. JOB OBJECTIVE

Under general supervision, responsible for the execution of effective business development initiatives to facilitate wider market reach, positioning and customer retention, including targeted leads generation, digital and traditional marketing, and customer relationship

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs any, a combination or all of the following depending on the assigned areas of responsibilities :

A. Market Development

1. Conducts systematic first and second-hand data gathering as to potential technology solutions market and provides the said synthesized data to the Marketing and Business Development Department Head for conversion into usable marketing information.

2. Executes various sales and marketing programs, under the direction of the Business Development Department Head to communicate a strong corporate image, position the company's products and services to the target market and to facilitate brand activation, and customer loyalty/retention

3. Assists the Business Development and Marketing Department Head in :

a. Conducting data-driven research as to potential technology solutions

b. Execution of sales and marketing programs to communicate a strong corporate image, position the company's products and services to the target market and to facilitate brand activation, and customer loyalty/retention

c. Participating in different events and seminars to promote the company's product and services

B. Content Management

1. Creates design layouts, secures approval of creative posts and marketing collaterals for the company's products and services and publishes the same to appropriate platforms

2. Monitors and submits to the Business Development Department Head data on social media indicators such as reach, impressions, engagements, etc.

C. Sales

1. Conducts sales and technical presentations to clients, in coordination with the Product Engineer, to convert sales leads generated through marketing initiatives

2. Executes direct marketing campaigns such as digital marketing, events participation and other marketing activities

3. Communicates with customers through phone, email and chat concerning product availability and order status

4. Attends to all queries by customers immediately and satisfactorily and provides online shopping assistance by walking through the website and product catalog

5. Closes new business deals, as defined in the scope of authority, by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts

6. Communicates product or service issues within the business support department, and immediately resolves the same, as they arise

D. Customer Relations

1. Builds up and maintains a database of potential and regular clients, including the contact details, authorized representatives, and other relevant information

2. Maintains good relationship with existing clients, assigned, through regular touch base, visits, greetings, etc.

3. Conducts sales calls to dormant clients to reactivate business relationships

4. Attends to all queries by customers immediately and satisfactorily and provides shopping assistance by walking through the website and product catalog

5. Communicates product or service issues within the business support department, and immediately resolves the same, as they arise

E. Sales Documentation

1. Creates and transmits Product Quotations to clients

2. Receives and processes Purchase Orders from clients

3. Generates Purchase Requests through the automated system

4. Facilitates processing and submission of clients' accreditation requirements

5. Generates and submits reports through the system as required by the management

6. Scans and systematically files sales documents such as Product Quotations, Purchase Orders, Sales Invoices, Delivery/Receiving Reports, and accreditation papers

F. Corporate Planning and Deliverables Monitoring

1. Participates in strategic and operational planning activities of the company.

2. Prepares, submits and presents reports relative to the development of approved plans, the status and assessment of the same.

3. Prepares, submits and presents on a regular basis data-driven reports on sales generation, marketing and leads generation activities and the results thereof, including but not limited to sales funnel, conversion rates, and other data as defined in the department's KRA/KPI.

G. Performs other functions as directed by the management from time to time

III. JOB SPECIFICATION

1. Minimum Educational Attainment - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or any related course

2. Actual Work Experience - Three (3) years actual working experience in Sales, Marketing or Business Development of Shipping or Technology Services
