Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages, while providing excellent customer service. The role requires strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, attention to detail, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for customers. The Barista also supports store operations by maintaining cleanliness, handling transactions, and assisting in inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Beverage Preparation

  • Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, blended drinks according to company standards.
  • Operate and maintain coffee machines, and other equipment.

2. Customer Service

  • Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Handle customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner.

3. Store Operations

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including counters, equipment, and seating areas.
  • Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  • Assist in opening and closing store procedures.

4. Inventory & Supplies

  • Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
  • Assist with inventory counts and report shortages to supervisors.
  • Handle ingredients properly to minimize waste.

5. Teamwork

  • Work collaboratively with fellow baristas.
  • Assist teammates during peak hours and support other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: Senior High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality or Barista Training Certificate is an advantage).
  • Experience: Prior experience as a Barista, Café Crew, or in customer service is preferred.
  • Passion for coffee, beverages
  • Knowledge of espresso machines and brewing techniques is an advantage.
  • Skills & Competencies: Strong customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art (preferred). Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php13,260.00 per month
