Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L3/L4 DBA support in a 24×7 operational environment.
  • Manage routine patching using Oracle Database Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaCC) via OCI Console.
  • Monitor and maintain Exadata database health, performance, and availability.
  • Implement and manage GoldenGate replication.
  • Perform database migration from x86 to Exadata using both offline and online approaches.
  • Execute database performance tuning & SQL tuning, including troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Conduct database upgrades, migrations to new hardware/cloud, and non-production database refresh.
  • Manage Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, table partitioning, encryption, and other core features.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Oracle database, cluster, and native Oracle solutions.
  • Use performance tuning tools such as OEM, AWR, ADDM, etc.
  • Handle backup and recovery operations using RMAN, EXPDP, and related tools.
  • Work with Oracle Support (SRs) for critical issues.
  • Operate effectively in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Ensure smooth operational support and documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA.
  • Strong experience working with Exadata (mandatory).
  • Hands-on expertise with Oracle 11g/12c/19c.
  • Strong experience with GoldenGate (mandatory).
  • Good understanding of:
  • Oracle RAC
  • Data Guard
  • Table partitioning & encryption
  • Oracle native high-availability and performance solutions
  • Solid experience in database migration, upgrade, and cloud environments.
  • Strong exposure to
    Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
