The Role

The
Strategic Data Analyst
is primarily responsible for designing and executing various initiatives to meet the business goals of unsecured lending products and non-lending products within the bank's retail business. The position is expected to take end-to-end ownership, from analyzing vast amounts of data, to translating it into insights, to creating outputs that have a direct impact on the bank's bottom line.

How you'll contribute

  • Work with the Non-Lending Analytics Head to continuously challenge and dream up new underwriting, portfolio, and scorecard strategies.
  • Perform rigorous statistical analysis of internal and external data in support of recommended strategies.
  • Liaise with various business and technical teams to implement strategies.

What we're looking for

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Science.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics
  • Working knowledge on data analytics tools such as SAS, R and Python
  • Understanding of consumer secured lending, unsecured lending, on-lending business
  • Skilled in data-driven analysis with an emphasis on Retail Business
  • With strong analytics skills with focus on pragmatism (5) Excellent time management skills
  • Able to deliver results across multiple projects in parallel.
