Overall Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery of products to the right locations, while maintaining high quality standards. Manages the end-to-end logistics process, including transportation, distribution, and warehouse operations. Oversees teams, budgets, and continuous improvement efforts to optimize logistics performance.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Process Improvement

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Provide logistics insights and reporting to support business goals.

Operations Management

  • Plan and manage logistics operations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, stock movement, and warehouse operations.
  • Resolve transportation issues and optimize routes, carriers, and shipping modes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and environmental standards.

Supplier & Customer Coordination

  • Negotiate contracts with logistics providers and monitor performance.
  • Ensure timely dispatch and quality shipping of goods.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and customers.

People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing logistics team.
  • Set team KPIs and evaluate performance.
  • Ensure safe and efficient work practices are followed.

Financial & Compliance

  • Manage logistics budget and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and packaging requirements.
