What is your mission?
We are looking for a Employee Benefits Administrator to handle employee benefit enrollments, plan updates, and underwriting support. You will coordinate with carriers, brokers, and internal teams, manage proposal templates, and ensure accurate data handling using AI-based tools. This role is perfect for someone with healthcare or insurance experience who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow in the U.S. healthcare industry.
You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:
- Manage employee enrollments, additions, and removals from health and benefit plans.
- Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure correct benefit deductions.
- Process plan changes, enrollments, terminations, and updates accurately.
- Assist with billing, invoice reviews, and reconciliation with carriers.
- Review health scorecards to determine proposal eligibility and feasibility.
- Create and maintain proposal templates for group plans.
- Collect and organize census data for quoting and underwriting purposes.
- Support general agents and carriers with plan setup and contracting needs.
- Communicate with brokers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve benefit-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records, tracking documents, and plan documentation.
- Leverage AI tools such as Engfle Health and Scrubs RX for underwriting support.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in health insurance, employee benefits, or the U.S. healthcare industry (BPO or corporate setting).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data tracking and analysis.
- Experience supporting insurance underwriting and proposal preparation workflows.
- Familiarity with healthcare broker processes, census data handling, and benefit plan designs.
- Comfortable using AI-based tools for underwriting and process efficiency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; minor language nuances are acceptable.
- Highly trainable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities accurately.
