The Role:
Facilities Manager

This role will oversee the end-to-end management of Xpress facilities across the existing offices of Xpress:

- head office (Brixton)

- regional office (Bataan)

- offshore office (Boracay)

and soon-to-open offices like El Nido and other locations as the company grows.

Responsibilities include:

• Office and Warehouse Maintenance:

Oversee day-to-day upkeep such as air-conditioning cleaning, light replacement, plumbing, and door/structural repairs to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Construction & Fit-outs:

Manage and coordinate with contractors and vendors for office, warehouse, or driver hub construction and renovation projects.
- Facilities Oversight:

Ensure all facilities—including offices, driver hubs, fleet parking/maintenance areas—are fully operational, safe, and equipped to support both employees and drivers.
- Procurement & Vendor Management:

Handle sourcing and procurement of office supplies, furniture, equipment, and facility-related services across Brixton, Bataan, Boracay, and future branches, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.
- Preventive Maintenance & Utilities:

Implement scheduled servicing and oversee repairs while managing utilities (electricity, water, internet, etc.) across all sites.
- Safety & Efficiency:

Guarantee workspaces are compliant, ergonomic, and optimized to improve employee productivity and driver experience.
- Expansion Planning:

Support business growth by leading the setup, relocation, or expansion of offices and hubs nationwide and offshore.

Compliance & Safety

This role ensures that all Xpress facilities—Brixton (HQ), Bataan, Boracay, and future branches like El Nido—operate in compliance with national and local requirements:

• Permit & License Renewals: Oversee the timely renewal of all business permits, occupancy permits, fire safety clearances, and other mandatory licenses for each office and hub.
• Province-Specific Compliance: Ensure adherence to local ordinances and requirements in each jurisdiction (e.g., barangay clearances, LGU permits, environmental compliance in coastal areas like Boracay and El Nido).
• Regulatory Oversight: Monitor and enforce compliance with Philippine building codes, DOLE workplace standards, health and sanitation requirements, and transport-related regulations.
• Risk & Security Management: Implement protocols for workplace security, fire prevention, emergency response, and disaster preparedness—customized for each site's unique risks (urban, provincial, or coastal).
• Workplace Health & Safety: Promote employee and driver well-being by embedding occupational safety practices across all offices, hubs, and fleet maintenance areas.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Lead projects to lower energy and water consumption, manage waste responsibly, and align facilities with sustainability goals.

Required Qualifications:

• Willingness to travel inside and outside of Metro Manila to get to Xpress offices when needed
• With experience in handling multiple sites, hubs, or facilities.
• 4 - 6+ years of experience in operations or facilities management, ideally in transport, logistics, or startups.
• With strong organizational and problem-solving skills- preferably someone who thrives in building structure in a fast-moving environment.
• Must be an effective communicator and team player who can work with both office teams and drivers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good knowledge in vendor management and fleet/transport-related operations is a plus.
• Tech-savvy; experience in handling HRIS or fleet management software is an advantage
