Job Overview

As a Facilities Engineer you will work with the Operations and other Department Leads

to deliver a wide range of support and technical functions. The duty is to primarily assist

with implementation of improvements to the provision of support functions across the

organization.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

Responsible in aligning all site-services including Security based on the FaCS

standard and policies

Reviews all technical policies and ensures that these are updated on a regular

basis

Ensures that all technical aspects of facilities are reviewed and approved by the

immediate superior prior to implementation / execution

Coordinate with the Building Management Office for issues relating to the

premises

Implements House Rules and Regulations and other FaCS Policies of the

Company

Provide monitoring and analysis of utilities (electricity, services, etc.) to FaCS

Senior Manager

Ensures that all cost related items are reported and properly monitored by

updating the Department's expense tracker

Shall monitor and implement the processes involve in managing the Engineering

and Maintenance Supplies

Ensures optimal utilization of resources to avoid unnecessary OT and wastage
Ensures that all contracts entered with third party vendors such as Technicians,

Security, etc. are updated

Provide cost comparative analysis to FaCS Senior Manager for approval of

required items

Monitors the vendor performance based from the contract's scope of work and

ensures that these are delivered accordingly

Ensures that all equipment (Non-critical and Critical) undergo on-time Preventive

Maintenance

Inspect and monitor the function of office facilities including fan coil units,

electrical, cable, interior design work & lighting etc.

Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed

satisfactorily and free from any deficiencies

Regularly reviews all Engineering plans on-site
Ensures all equipment are properly maintained and in its normal operation
Provides monthly maintenance and equipment uptime report analysis
Handles the Annual Maintenance Agreement and Contracts for the critical

equipment, namely; Data Center UPS and Air Conditioning System

Evaluates and map out the Security risks for all sites and provide necessary

report to the FaCS Senior Manager

Provides corrective actions to identified risk with approval from the FaCS Senior

Manager

Supervises maintenance of safety data sheets so they are accessible at all times

according to regulations

Drafts the technical requirement and provide Scope of Work to FaCS Senior

Manager for approval

Monitors the fit out, renovation or construction on existing office spaces as well

as sites for future expansion

Responsible for the managing the services and processes to support the core

business of the company through MicroStatus by complying with the TAT and

SLA

Analyze breakdowns and provide actionable items to resolve problems through

application of SWOT, 8D Reporting, DMAIC and RCA for mitigation and

improvement

Ensures adherence to the Asset Management Policy
Shall assist in conducting the site physical asset count
Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
