Sr. Project Planner

This position provides the coordinating and controlling function of the over-all scheduling process from project conception to project completion whilst supporting a portfolio of all assigned projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create detailed project schedules using project management tools and software and update them regularly to reflect changes in project scope, resource and timeline.
  • Monitor the project schedule and prepare status reports for stakeholders. Keeps accurate and up to date documentation related to project schedules and changes.
  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure that project milestones are met. Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or resource shortages.
  • Communicate timelines with Project Managers and team members to ensure alignment on project schedules and provides support to PM and teams regarding scheduling issues and changes.
  • Capture lessons learned from completed projects to propose improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Attend site meetings and inspections, as deem necessary, to address specific issues related to PMO.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Degree in Architectural / Engineering.
  • Licensed Engineer / Architect
  • 2 - 5 years related work experience
  • Certification: Certified P6 or MS project basic training module
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project
  • Proficient in using MS Office suite of software (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
