Qualification Highlights:

  • Be a Certified Public Accountant (with valid license) is a plus.
  • Has strong experience in Taxation and Finance for at least 3 years
  • With work experience in multinational and/or Chinese companies is preferred;
  • Has proven experience managing a team and worked as a Team Leader or Supervisor;
  • Good at dealing with BIR audit and risk control;
  • Fluent in writing and speaking English language.
  • Familiar with Oracle ERP or SAP is preferred.
  • Has project management skills; and
  • Has positive attitude towards work with both Local and Chinese Finance team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As the successful candidate, you will be joining the ZTE Philippines based team and will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and development of the finance, and local and international tax functions.
  • Handle statutory tax compliance---ensuring all company tax returns are duly prepared, filed and paid, establish and maintain tax office and relationship with the Local Government Units as well as provide support on company tax audit.
  • Handle special finance and tax projects in accordance with Company's needs and policies

  • This role will support the Local Tax and Finance Head in the following:

  • External FS Audit and coordinate with auditors and ZTE's shared service center (SSC) and local finance team

  • Manage and improve tax risk control, update current tax process and company tax policies
  • Review and assist Shared Services Center's (SSC) audit, recording, and reconciliation including review of trial balance (TB) & general ledger (GL) to ensure accuracy & correctness of company's records for audit and tax reporting,
  • Directly reports to the Local Tax and Finance Head and CFO.
